MISSOURI
July 3rd
Perryville, MO – The Rotary Club is having an Independence Day celebration! The music starts at 7 p.m. and a fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.
July 4th
Sikeston, MO – The fireworks show at Recreation Complex Park start at dusk.
Cape Girardeau, MO – Bring your lawn chair to Arena Park and enjoy a tribute to our country and its veterans. Entertainment begins at 8:00 p.m. and the fireworks show begins at 9:15 p.m.
Chaffee, MO – There will be a 4th of July Celebration at Harmon Field and Chaffee Swimming Pool starting at 3 p.m. There will be a cornhole tournament, BBQ, fireworks at dusk provided by the Chaffee Fire Department and more.
Jackson, MO – The City of Jackson holds its annual July 4 celebration at Jackson City Park. There will be a fun run, a car show, live entertainment, Art in the Park, beer garden, and arts and crafts vendors. Fireworks begin at dusk.
Oran, MO – Enjoy a fireworks show at the Guardian Angels Knights of Columbus Hall.
Ste Genevieve, MO – The celebration begins at noon with the Pledge of Allegiance, patriotic speeches, music and more at the courthouse square. The Muny Band will perform, and then a fireworks will happen at Ste. Genevieve’s Pere Marquette Park
Cape Girardeau, MO – Join us at Fort D for a celebration of our nation’s birth! Local Civil War reenactors will be at Fort D Historic Site in Cape Girardeau from 9 am to 3 pm. During the Civil War the soldiers manning Fort D were very patriotic. Today, that history will be continued with demonstrations of rifle fire and cannon fire. Built under the direction of John Wesley Powell in 1861, the earthen walls of Fort D still survive. Visit with reenactors who are descendants of men who served in Powell’s Battery F, Second Illinois Light Artillery. From the ridge, view the Mississippi River and imagine Union steamboats that traversed the River heading north and south transporting needed provisions, soldiers, and the wounded. Take a moment to read the interpretive signs on the grounds and if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! Wear your red, white, and blue! Fort D Historic Site is located at 920 Fort Street (Off of Sprigg Street and 4 blocks south of MO Route 74).
Clarkton, MO – The day will begin at the Clarkton City Park. Vendors will be set up from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A parade will trek down Main Street starting at 6 p.m. Then the fireworks display will begin around 7:30 p.m.
Fredericktown, MO – The Fredericktown Area Optimist Club along with the City of Fredericktown and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to Madison County’s 4th of July Firework display and celebration. It’s from 6 PM – 9 PM at the Rotary Park Walking Trail.
Poplar Bluff, MO -Downtown Poplar Bluff will have lots of activities throughout the day with a firework show at dusk!
ILLINOIS
July 3rd
Carterville, IL– Come on out to Walker’s Bluff for our annual Red, Wine and Blue Celebration on July 3rd! The car show stars at 4 p.m., live music starts at 6, and fireworks start at sunset.
July 1-4
Mt. Vernon, IL – This 3-day carnival includes rides, games, food vendors, a parade and a fireworks display in the park. On July 4 at 10 a.m., the Veteran’s Parade is held along West Broadway and finishes at Fairview Park. Fireworks begin at dark. Great entertainment for all ages!
July 4th
Anna, IL – The City of Anna Fire Department will be hosting the annual fireworks display on Thursday, July 4th at the Anna City Park at dusk. *In the event of rain, the date will be changed to Friday, July 5th.
Goreville, IL – Freedom Fest 2019 will include many kid friendly activities, a parade, free concerts, food vendors, fireworks and more! At the corner of Broadway (State Rt. 37) & Collins Street.
Carbondale, IL – The City of Carbondale will host an annual firework display on the campus of Southern Illinois University at 9:15 p.m. Parking will be available at the Banterra Center lots.
July 6th
Benton, IL – The 2019 Rend Lake Fireworks Festival will take place at Rend Lake Dam and Spillway Recreation Area. The fireworks will begin at 9:00 pm and will be visible for miles around. When attending the fireworks, bring lawn chairs, coolers, and blankets. Leading up to the fireworks, there will be family-friendly activities and fun for all ages. Parking is available around the dam/spillway area, Dam West, North Marcum, and South Sandusky camping areas. Donations of $5 are appreciated to cover event costs.
Marion, IL – Fireworks set off at Elk’s Lake of Egypt property near the spillway. Rain-out will be on Sunday, July 7.
KENTUCKY
July 4th
Murray, KY -Celebrate Independence Day with Freedom Fest! Family fun and patriotic spirit await you during this jam-packed day of events. The FNB Bank Freedom Fest Parade marches down Main Street at 9:30 a.m.Then, the evening hours are filled with activities for kids at The Murray Bank Family Night in the Park, featuring vendors, inflatables, a free concert and more at Central Park. Freedom Fest goes out with a bang during everyone’s favorite event, the Briggs & Stratton Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Paducah, KY – The City of Paducah invites your entire family to downtown Paducah for the Independence Day Celebration to enjoy a full day of family fun with food, fireworks, a large-scale community art project, kid-friendly activities, and free entertainment. Due to the level of the Ohio River, the music will be on a stage set up in the Farmers’ Market parking lot instead of on Wilson Stage. The event is sponsored in part by Independence Bank.
*Kentucky Lake – Kentucky Dam Marina is calling off their annual Independence Day fireworks due to it being an unsafe area for hosting form storm damage. They are planning something for Labor Day to make up for the cancellation.
